Video remote interpreting

An interpreter in your office, on your time, anywhere.

When travel time doesn't fit the meeting — when the appointment is in 20 minutes, when your team is across three time zones, when the patient just walked in — VRI puts a certified interpreter in Zoom, Teams and many other platforms — all on your tablet. Same quality. No commute.

VRI is not a call center. It is the same interpreter you would have booked on site — just on a screen.

We do not route through a third-party stack. Your interpreter is one of ours, scheduled by hand, prepped on the materials you sent, and dialed into the platform you already use.

Live now

availability.

How it works

From request to interpreter on screen, in two steps.

01

You send us the link.

Forward the Zoom, Teams, or other meeting link, along with any prep materials we should review beforehand.

02

The interpreter joins, prepped.

The interpreter joins having reviewed the information you have sent for preparation.

When to choose VRI

VRI vs. on-site, the honest version.

  • Stage and theatre work
  • Work meetings
  • Classes and education
  • On-the-job training
  • Tours
Platforms

We work on whatever you already use.

Common questions

FAQ.

How fast can I get a VRI interpreter?

3 days notice is preferable, but same day is an option upon availability.

What if the connection drops mid-appointment?

The interpreter will dial back in within 60 seconds. For high-stakes settings (surgery, court), we recommend on-site.

How is this different from a national VRI service?

National VRI is a call-center model: you dial in, you get whoever is on the queue. We are a small certified roster. The interpreter you see has been booked for this meeting specifically, with prep materials in hand.

What does it cost?

VRI is billed in 30-minute increments with a 2-hour minimum. We can quote a flat monthly retainer for organizations with recurring needs. Email info@rosesli.com for the rate sheet.
