Accessibility is the work.

Rose Sign Language Interpreting is committed to ensuring equal access for all people — online and in every setting we serve.

Our Commitment

Commitment to accessibility.

Rose Sign Language Interpreting (Rose SLI) is dedicated to making our website and services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is central to our mission — as a sign language interpreting firm, we exist to remove communication barriers, and we hold ourselves to that same standard in everything we do.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

What We Do

Measures we've taken.

To support accessibility on this website, Rose SLI has implemented the following measures:

ADA Compliance

ADA & legal obligations.

Rose SLI provides ASL interpreting services to help organizations comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. All of our interpreters hold current certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and adhere to the RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Entities covered under Title II and Title III of the ADA are required to provide effective communication access for individuals who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing. Rose SLI can assist your organization in fulfilling these obligations with qualified, certified interpreters for in-person and remote settings.

Our Services

Accessibility in our interpreting services.

Every Rose SLI interpreter is trained in the specific cultural and linguistic needs of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Our services include:

On-site interpreting

In-person ASL interpreting for medical appointments, court proceedings, workplace meetings, and educational settings — anywhere in San Diego County.

Video remote interpreting

On-demand remote ASL interpreting via secure video connection, available nationwide. Ideal for telehealth, virtual meetings, and situations where an on-site interpreter is not available.

Certified interpreters

All interpreters hold RID certification and maintain continuing education requirements to ensure the highest standard of interpreting practice.

HIPAA & confidentiality

Medical interpreters are trained in HIPAA compliance. Legal interpreters uphold strict ethical obligations. All engagements are handled with full confidentiality.

Transparency

Known limitations.

While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, we acknowledge there may be some content that does not yet fully meet these standards. We are continuously working to improve accessibility across all pages. Known areas under active improvement include:
