Why we exist, in one paragraph.
We started Rose SLI because too many Deaf clients told us the same thing: the interpreter they got was not the interpreter they needed.
Interpreting is not a logistical errand. The interpreter standing next to a patient at a cancer diagnosis, or interpreting a deposition, or signing a wedding vow back to the person it is being said to — that interpreter is part of the moment. They affect the outcome. So we built a practice around taking that seriously: every interpreter on our roster is nationally certified, every booking is matched by hand, and every assignment ends with a quick check-in we actually read.
We are based in San Diego County and serve clients on site across Southern California. For nationwide or global needs, we run video remote interpreting (VRI) on Zoom, Teams, or whatever platform you already use. Same interpreters, same standard.
When the stakes are high — a court date, a clinic visit, an event your team has been planning for a year — that is why we are here.
